Day 1: Arrival to Addis Ababa and transfer to hotel, sight seeing in Addis. Accommodation: Ghion Hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Bahirdar and visit the Blue Nile Fall and Lake Tana’s monastery. Accommodation: Tana Hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Gondar and visit Royal palaces and castles of 17th century kings and a church of Debre Birhan Silassie (Trinity in the mount of light). Hotel Accommodation: Goha Hotel.
Day 4: Drive through the Semien Mountains to the ancient city of Axum. Accommodation: Yeha Hotel
Day 5: Visit the attractions of Axum including the obelisks, remains of palaces, tombs, the church of St. Mary of Zion and other archeological sites. Accommodation: Yeha Hotel
Day 6: Drive to the Yeha temple; and proceed to the Debre Damo monastery, where men climb with ropes for about 16 mts. Women are not allowed. Drive to Adigrat through the Adwa. Accommodation: Woldu Sabagadis Hotel

Day 7: Drive to Mekele by admiring churches as Abreha-we-Atsbeha & Wikro Cherkos. Accommodation: Axum Hotel
Day 8: Drive to Lalibella, admiring spectacular views via Sekota. Accommodation: Mount View Hotel
Day 9: Full day visit Rock-hewn churches of Lalibella. Accomodation: Mount View Hotel
Day 10 Morning excursion by mules to the Asheten Mariam. Afternoon drive to the Yimrehane cave church and possibly participate to a coffee ceremony in a traditional house. Accomodation: Mount View Hotel
Day 11 Fly back Addis Ababa. Afternoon free and visit the Mercato, biggest open air market in Africa. Dinner with folklorist dance. Departure. Accommodation Ghion Hotel ( Day use only)
