Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa – City Tour
Arrival at Addis Ababa. After meeting your guide, begin a city tour including the National Museum, home of the famous fossil “Lucy,” the Ethnological Museum, and Merkato, the largest open-air market in Africa.
Overnight: Hotel in Addis Ababa
Day 2: Fly Addis Ababa – Jinka – Mursi – Turmi
Morning flight to Jinka. After arrival, drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, known for their distinctive lip plate tradition. Continue to Turmi, stopping to visit the Bana people along the way.
Overnight: Lodge in Turmi
Day 3: Turmi – Karo & Nyangatom Tribes
Visit the Karo tribe along the Omo River, known for body painting and artistic expression. Continue to Nyangatom villages, experiencing semi-nomadic pastoral life and river-based agriculture.

Day 4: Turmi – Konso – Arba Minch
