Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Mekele – Dallol – Hamed Ela
Depart early from Mekele and drive into the heart of the Danakil Depression by 4×4 vehicle.
Arrive at the extraordinary Dallol, one of the lowest and hottest places on Earth. Explore its surreal landscape of colorful mineral deposits, bubbling springs, and salt formations created by intense geothermal activity.
