Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Mekele – Dallol – Hamed Ela
Early morning departure from Mekele by 4×4 vehicle into the Danakil Depression.
Drive through dramatic desert landscapes toward the extraordinary Dallol—one of the lowest and hottest places on Earth. Explore its surreal environment filled with sulfur springs, colorful mineral deposits, and salt canyons formed by volcanic activity.
